Lab mix

Otis is everything a one year old lab should be~silly, sweet, playful. He cannot resist going into playbow everytime the other dogs are around! Otis was rescued from the Westside Animal Care & Control facility as he was too shy to go up for adoption. He has a beautiful silky thick black coat and topaz brown eyes-he is quite the handsome fellow. He is leashtrained, cratetrained, and he has learned his basic commands; he is very intelligent. Otis seems to be quite timid with humans initially and he will go into a submissive position and start to roll on his back. However if you sit down on the floor with him he crawls right over into your lap! Obedience training with Otis will build his confidence and the submission will disappear. Otis would love to go to a permanent home with another canine and a family filled with hikers or joggers! Otis knows how to swim, which was discovered when he lost his balance on the edge of the pool. Otis is kitty safe, although curious. Otis will bring joy to a family and another canine pal.
