Soomething horrible has happened to me! I was abandoned! I don't know why - I am such a sweet little cat. Maybe my owner got married and her spouse didn't like me . . . maybe my owner had a baby and didn't have time for me anymore . . . or maybe my owner moved to a place that doesn't accept pets. These are the top three reasons people abandon pets. What a terrible thing to do - I am not a commodity. I am a living being who loved the humans who didn't value me. I was scared on my own. I am looking for a human who understands that bringing me into his or her life means that you will care for me whatever circumstances may arise. I am one of the lucky 3% of cats who are rescued after abandonment. Most fall prey to coyotes, starvation or traffic. Please come see if I am the kitty for you. I have an alpha-cat personality so would love to be an only-cat (but I will probably settle into a home with another feline so long as I am allowed to be the boss). I will do well with a canine friend if properly introduced and children with impulse control are welcome.
