Retriever Mix

Meet Kira! She is about 18 weeks old and loves to give kisses. She is a lot more outgoing than her sister, Annie. She's almost potty trained, but will still need a little help with that. She is also crate trained. She loves to play... and play and play some more! She does like to chew, as do most puppies, so plenty of safe chew toys would help keep her happy. She is very smart and sometimes stubborn, but obedience training will definitely help, plus it is a great bonding experience for dogs and their new guardians. Kira is learning how to walk on a leash and we are working on "sit" and "come." Currently, she is living with six other foster dog siblings including Annie, one of her littermates. They both love to take every toy in the toy box out in the yard to play. It is the funniest thing - no matter how many times I pick up the toys, they are always back out within minutes! Kira would do well in a home where she is part of the family and loved forever. Keep in mind that she is going to be a large dog, and may require regular brushing to keep her coat beautiful.
