Husky - Malamute

Kodiak is a great young guy who loves to be on the go. If you are looking for a great hiking/running companion consider him. He is used to walking 2 hours each day. He is quite affectionate for a Malamute & usually behaves well in the house. He gets along well with female dogs and most males if introduced right. He does tend to be dominant & needs to be introduced properly which we will help with. He's about 3 yrs old so he has many good years ahead of him. He needs friends that will spend time outdoors with him daily. He uses a dog door and is crate trained. Because he's a big guy & plays a little rough older kids (12 & up) will be best. He has a bit of elbow dysplasia but it doesn't slow him down, and a 6' fence is recommended. Flagstaff/N Arizona applicants and previous husky owners preferred as he loves the cold weather.
