Unknown breed / mixed : : Female : : Senior Shepherd mix
Maddie is an adorable shepherd mix. The vet thinks possibly there are some Aussie or Sheltie/Collie genes in the mix too. Whatever her mix is, she is the sweetest pup around. At 8 weeks she was almost housebroken. She knows to go to the door when she has to potty. She sleeps through the night in her crate. She loves playing with big and little dogs and can hold her own with all. She's in a foster home with a cat and three adult dogs. She adores the cat and plays nicely with her too. Maddie find squeaky toys and playing in the snow irresistible. Maddie will most likely be a medium sized (50#), long haired dog when grown, and yes, she will shed, so you will need to plan on grooming or brushing her (she'll love you for it!). Northern Arizona applicants only. Must have fenced yard and be willing to commit to 15+ years. Children ages 8 and up. Before applying to adopt a puppy you must commit yourself to being a good owner. Acquiring a puppy takes a lifetime commitment on your part. Dogs can live upwards of 15 years if they are healthy, so it is not a decision to be made lightly. It is essential that you choose to share your life with a dog for the right reasons; otherwise you can make both yourself and the dog miserable. So what IS the right reason? The only reason you should commit yourself to a dog/puppy is because you want to share your life with a furry companion. Maddie's adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, all shots, microchip and deworming. |
