Keena came to us after Paw Placement received a call that a cat had been hit by a car and gave birth lying in the street with serious injuries. Keena was rushed to the vet for emergency surgery and her kittens were fostered and bottle fed while mom was at the vet. , Keena lost an eye and her jaw was broken with several of her teeth smashed from the accident. She has been given a clean bill of health and we give her an "A" for parenting skills. Keena was so happy to be reunited with her babies and couldn't get her paws around them fast enough! Now all Keena wants is a safe home where she will be loved forever., Keena is Irish for "courageous". That describes our sweet girl very well. |
