Oscar was running the streets in a bad part of town, dodging cars and enduring daily abuse by the neighborhood children. A kind soul took the time to earn his trust and capture him, bringing him to Paw Placement for a brighter future.

Oscar is, understandably, slow to trust and warm up to strangers. He is, however, extremely sweet natured and affectionate. Oscar loves to play with other small dogs, and would feel more comfortable in a forever home with a doggie sibling. Now that he is leash trained, he enjoys his walks. He is also learning the joys of playing with squeaky toys and chewing on marrow bones. Oscar will require a patient owner willing to spend a few days earning his trust and affection; after that, Oscar is loyal, loving and cuddly with his humans. Oscar is crate and house trained in his foster home.
